Please note that I will be out of the building for most of November to receive medical treatment. You can still reach me via email. In the event of an emergency, please contact Ms. Moore at india.moore@k12.dc.gov  or our Assistant Principal Gbenro at Olamide.Gbenro@k12.dc.gov

We now have a class Room Parent, Mrs. Janee, who is Carter's mom. Room Parents serves as a liaison between the teacher, parents, and the Home and School Association (HSA) by facilitating communication, organizing events, and other tasks. Please see her message below, along with a picture of her and Carter included in theTarget Skills for the Week Tab. We are entering a season filled with special events, fundraisers, and other exciting activities. You will likely hear from Janee or me soon!

Hi, I’m Janee, Carter’s mom — a proud DC native, mom of five, and lifelong member of the DCPS community, both as a graduate and now as an educator entering my 16th year. I’m thrilled to serve as our Kindergarten room parent and connect with other families throughout the year. Together, we’ll collaborate with our amazing teachers to make this a fun, memorable, and truly magical Kindergarten experience for our kids!
